Registration Instruction for Presenting Authors
According to the conference registration policy each accepted DDI2018 contribution (abstract, paper or poster) must have at least one full registration attached to it before August 1st in order to be included in the proceedings.
Please note that, if you register as a presenting author, you have to provide the Paper ID number when registering.
Student fee
Students include bachelor, master and PhD Student level. All students must be able to provide Student ID or similar documentation on request.

All participants who need a Visa Confirmation Letter are requested to send an email providing the information below to ddi2018@meetx.se. Please note that visa application letter will be sent only after completed and fully payed registration.

Hotel booking
A number of hotel rooms in different price categories will be pre-booked in Gothenburg for the event. Radisson Blu Riverside Hotel is the venue hotel located in direct connection to the conference facilities. Read more about the hotels here
You can book your hotel room at the time of registration.
VAT on fees
The fees are stated in SEK excluding Swedish VAT. Please note, in accordance with Swedish Value Added Tax (VAT) requirements, any company or organization from a country outside Sweden with a registered VAT number (or equivalent tax registration number for companies outside of the EU) is NOT required to pay Swedish VAT for registration fee attending the DDI 2018 conference in Sweden. Delegates from Sweden are required to pay VAT.
Delegates from Sweden and private persons are required to pay VAT on registration fee (25%), social events (25%) and hotel (12%).
All delegates are required to pay VAT on social events (25%) and hotel (12%).
Important information
Please observe that the stated VAT number needs to be correct when registering for the conference. If the wrong VAT number is stated in the registration form a changing fee of SEK 250 will be charged and you will also be charged the VAT amount (25%). This mistake could also incur a penalty from the Swedish tax office for false information.

Please have your VAT/tax registration number ready before you start the registration process.
Method of payment
All payments should be made in Swedish krona (kr/SEK). All bank transfer charges in connection with transferring fees are to be paid by the delegate. No personal, company or Euro-cheques will be accepted.
Payment can be made by the following methods:
Credit card – Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Please note that all credit card payments are made through secure and encrypted online payment gateway, and will be listed as a transaction with Sweden Meetx AB on your credit card statement.
Invoice – Only possible for Swedish companies/organisations with a valid Swedish VAT number (Org.nr). Invoice should be paid within 30 days.
Cancellation of registration and social events
Until August 15th, cancellation is possible and you will be refunded 50% the conference fee less a administrative cost of SEK 250. We regret that no refunds can be made for cancellations received after this date. If you cannot attend the conference, your registration is transferable to another member of your organisation, an administrative cost of SEK 250 will be charged. All changes should be done in written form to: ddi2018@meetx.se
Cancellation of hotel
- When the reservation is confirmed until 8 weeks before arrival, no charge will be taken if reservation is cancelled.
- From 8 to 4 weeks before arrival – 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
- From 4 to 2 weeks before arrival – 75% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
- We regret that no cancellation within 2 weeks before arrival will be refunded.
Please note that change of arrival/departure dates within this deadline is to be counted as cancellation. Changes and/or cancellations has to be made directly in written form to Sweden MEETX and not to the hotel. It is possible to transfer your booking to another person.
Our privacy statement
We are committed to protecting your privacy. The information we ask for in the registration is the information we need to properly arrange the meeting, logistics, login, payments etc. We will provide relevant information with our partners (travel agency / hotel / venue and industry) with the same purpose. Neither we nor our partners will share any information with third parties. We may keep your name and email address for future events, but you are always free to reject any invitations. We can not register your information without your approval. By confirming our cancellation policy and then clicking the “I accept the user agreement” button in our forms, you agree that we store your information for the above purposes.
